Summer Fun for Kids at Cypress Church

Summer is just around the corner and Cypress Church has exciting, fun and educational programs available for children in the Buena Park, Cypress, Anaheim and Los Alamitos areas. Music Camp and VBS Director Carrie Oswald and her staff have vacation activities planned for June and July.

At Summer Music Camp your children will need to "buckle their seat belts" for a fun-filled, inspirational ride on the Holy Highway with GPS (God's Plan of Salvation) as their guide! Kids Music Camp at Cypress Church is a one week program that will begin on Monday, June 22 at 9:00 am. The Grand Finale will be a community musical performance at 6:00 pm on Sunday, June 28th. Young people will learn valuable life lessons, innovation and creativity.

Multiple Dove Award-winning writer Celeste Clydesdale is the creator of this high-energy kids' musical packed with humor, fun and above all, spiritual truth. The program features several fantastic new songs plus Steven Curtis Chapman's "Treasure of You" and Avalon's "I Don't Want to Go."

Registration is open now for Crocodile Dock Vacation Bible School at Cypress Church to be held from July 20 - 24, 2009. At VBS your kids will keep an eye out for “God in action” in their everyday lives—they’ll even notice the daily demonstrations of his love that are often overlooked. Children will also discover how their actions can be a “God Sighting” by showing Christ’s love to others. They might place a fun treat or note on a family member’s pillow or give a smile to someone who doesn’t have one. Vacation Bible School hours will be from 9:00 am until Noon. Everyone involved in this VBS program will explore God’s Word and never be the same again!

Advance sign-ups for Music Camp and Crocodile Dock VBS are being accepted at any time. For more information you may call Director Carrie Oswald at (714) 952-3001 or Email: carrieo@cypresschurch.net. You may also find information on the internet at: http://cypress.church.events.googlepages.com/
