National Day Of Prayer On May 7th at Cypress Church

Cypress Church invites the community to join others across the nation in praying for the great needs around us and the furtherance of the great freedoms we experience in our country. This exciting night marks the 58th annual observance of the National Day of Prayer and will be held on Thursday, May 7, 2009 at 7:00 pm.

“In this time of economic and spiritual crisis the need for a solid commitment to prayer is absolutely essential for our nation,” stated Prayer Ministry Leader Jim Whitney.

The goal of this special night is to gather together in unity seeking our All-Powerful God as we discover and pray for the needs of our nation and community. The night will also mark the beginning of “Courage” a 40 day journey inviting us to live a courageous life. This spiritual growth campaign will challenge us to live out our Biblical faith and courageously go after fulfilling God purposes in our communities, in our nation, in our world.

The entire community is encouraged to come to Cypress Church on Thursday, May 7th at 7:00 pm for prayer, uplifting music, and a short message from Pastor Mike McKay on the need to step out in courage to fulfill God’s vision and plan for our lives. As we fulfill this Biblical vision we bring glory to God.

Cypress Church holds a weekly prayer meeting every Tuesday evening at 7:00 pm. Sunday worship is at 8:45 am and 10:30 am. The church campus is located at 6143 Ball Road just east of Valley View.
